Retrofitting a rain shower - tips requested

Overall found to be good.

You can certainly have a negative opinion about the two hoses, but everyone has a hose anyway.
Also about the apparent adapter connection, which isn’t one, but holds the telescopic rod in place.
There are no plastic plug connections. The rod and some other parts are coated plastic. Just like our brand shower.
The only thing that’s not 100% perfect is the connection of the switching part to the rod: there is 1mm of play there. But what the heck
We now have a rain shower for just under €80
The head does not drip afterward. The pressure of the handheld shower cannot be adjusted, so we will upgrade that - maybe with one of those rods with colorful lights
