Good evening,
our house is finished on the outside and we would like to have a flush-mounted mailbox including a video intercom system installed. The problem (or not a problem) is that the installation now has to be done retrospectively. That means having an opening cut into the facade or [WDVS] with a depth of 10 cm. That would leave 6 cm [WDVS] and 20 cm [KS] remaining (regarding thermal bridging). We know that this is normally done before plastering, but our [BU] was not very accessible in some matters.
Is this still possible or is it advisable against?
Thank you!
