Hello,
I built the following story with an architect and we are also close to completing the construction.
Back when the screed was done, according to the tender (also signed as such), the insulation was supposed to be laid by the screed layers. The architect verbally canceled the insulation by the screed layers and then verbally included it with the heating installers (I have already signed the tender from the heating installers without insulation).
Now to my problem: the invoice for the insulation is three times as high as it was with the screed layers, for that reason I refuse to pay it. I tried to clarify the matter with the architect but he is stubborn and says "sue me." The heating installer is pushing for the money, I pointed this out to the architect since he is responsible for the invoices.
Now I am completely at a loss, what should I best do? I don’t really want to run to a lawyer, I’d rather wait to see if something comes from the company first.
Thanks in advance
