Replacing triple-pane window glass, cost

Good evening everyone.

Has anyone of you ever had to replace a windowpane?

We have a fixed glass element of about nearly 3 m2 (triple normal glass) that cracked. The replacement is supposed to cost 1000€.. I was shocked at first, I think the window itself was cheaper...

Is that normal or is it worth asking a few more companies?

Just call your window installer and have it done under warranty. Here, the glazier had to replace 4 window panes because in one 1.5x2*'2.35m element the argon had escaped, the other large element had a crack, and the other 2 elements had scratches. It was only all seen after moving in and the first window cleaning.

yes, I did that, no warranty case and just a 1000€ offer. Unfortunately saved on glass insurance...

Two people come, bring a large and heavy disc, install it, take the other one out, and take it away for disposal. 1000€ sounds realistic and not too high.

Glass panes rarely crack purely by divine intervention.
