Hello everyone,
I am new to this forum.

I am missing an idea for my front door, which is not only insecure and without seals, but also thermally a disaster!

About my house: it is a prefabricated house.

The door: a door 1 meter wide with a side panel of 60 cm each on the left and right.
That also causes me some problems, because I wanted a door from the Renodoor line from Hörmann in Titan, which is affordable, but each side panel of 40 cm costs 600€ extra, so both side panels 1200€.

I really find that expensive.
The idea: only one side panel and somehow do something on the other side, but how? Brickwork? If yes, how do I anchor a wall to the prefabricated house??

Or somehow do something with wood? If yes, how do I do it so that it is properly sealed and thermally okay? And above all, the door frame then hangs on this construction!!!

Has anyone done something like this before?? If yes, how??

Best regards
