Hm... wouldn't the following option also work: - Toilet where the washing machine is currently planned. - Walk-in shower bathtub with partition wall directly to the left next to it, so that you can still stand there (I mean those bathtubs with door opening so you don't always have to climb). - Washing machine then in the corner between the washbasin and the outer wall?

If, as in the development plan, you have neighboring buildings at the "winter garden", it would have 3 exterior walls and only one narrow free side for ventilation. In such a niche I wouldn't plan anything that has to do with fire and smoke production. An electric grill would probably still be safe.

I could not imagine for us that every morning 2 to 4 people have to go down a staircase past the front door to take a shower. I personally would put the bathtub on the ground floor and have a proper shower upstairs.
