You can save a lot of costs with DIY work. For most things, you don’t need much technical understanding. Have the underfloor heating designed, as mentioned. Including a plan if possible. Then remove the screed, insulate the basement ceiling, lay the underfloor heating yourself according to the plan. The air-water heat pump can also be installed as a monoblock by yourself. There are good options from Panasonic in 5, 7, and 9KW. The biggest cost factor is then the new screed, because you’re more likely to have that done. I claim that overall you come to around 20k for the entire system. It costs time, sweat, and a bit of courage. But it’s possible and manageable even for laypeople.
