Which paving stone is that? For that money, I would even have it laid if necessary. For half the price, you can get decent paving, if necessary even for under 10 euros. It looks accordingly, but still good.

Hello! So far we have consulted 2 companies and 1 expert and therefore unfortunately also have opinions. One says "fill it in and build new garages on top, cost approx. 90,000!!!!!" The expert suggests constructing additional concrete walls and ceiling inside the basement (which is not necessarily needed). The 3rd company says they can only assess the condition of the ceiling if the cross-section is exposed (in the course of the forecourt renovation). Apparently, water entering the basement through the dilapidated forecourt is to blame for the rusty reinforcement.... Regarding the forecourt renovation, I would be interested to know if simple concrete paving can actually cost twice as much.... Roughly estimated. Because I have not read about such a large price difference in various forums so far... (Of course the actual problem is the basement renovation... I just fear that if I bring in 3 more companies, I will end up with 3 more opinions and be totally confused....

In the case of building damage, it is always necessary to first find the cause and eliminate it. Afterwards, the actual damage is repaired. I understand that for a deteriorated basement ceiling, the surroundings must be exposed outside in order to see if or how damage has been caused there. Specifically, an expert on site takes care of the necessary measures.

But, shouldn’t only a small part of the driveway be removed? Why is the entire driveway obsolete? Also, the structure must be sealed so that the driveway, which by itself is not waterproof, cannot be the cause of the damage.

Yes, that can be. Why not? Get a comparative quote for the concrete paving ...
