I once "witnessed" this, a complete renewal of the electrical system in a two-family house. I can only agree with , no wall remains undamaged, tons of dirt, afterwards all walls are slashed... No idea if you can plan this "like a general staff operation," starting from a renewed distribution box and working through the house room by room... would you then always have to move from one room to another?? Where the painter has already been or the electrician not yet? The craftsmen would surely be laughing their heads off! If the electrician is supposed to come every week for one room, and the painter as well...
In the said two-family house, the lower apartment was occupied, electrics from 1936... the electrician originally even refused to reconnect the wiring. In any case, nothing was renewed there... it’s still like that.
