But if the saw blade is round, I can't get in there nicely into the joint. I also don't know how he fixed it, if he glued the back as well, I don't stand a chance anyway, he was just incompetent.

Hi,

if the trash can is really glued with FKM 600, unfortunately it looks pretty bleak. That stuff bonds very strongly.

But there must be a solution. I have already worked on the top and the sides with a Japanese saw.

The saw blade is semi-circular. Depending on the angle at which you hold the tool, you can get very precisely into the joints. There are also rectangular-shaped blades for that.

so we have now removed the trash can with a hammer and chisel, it appears to be undamaged, we are missing the metal part for the closure. Where can I buy that? Would it now be possible to install it into the hole in the tile? Or do I have to insert this black box and remove the tile beforehand?
