Removable roof insulation

Hello,

a fundamental question:

Would the space under the roof (attic) be used for residential purposes at all?

If not, it could be carried out as a cold room and the top floor ceiling could be insulated...

Yes! Space is tight and the Rustici are not designed for our body size. One room is open towards the roof, in the other room we would like to make a gallery with sleeping places.

I am very grateful for your ideas.

Perhaps a dense inner roof can be installed, comparable to a tent. Perhaps made of EPDM (cf. flat roofs). This would largely eliminate the need to monitor the intermediate space.
