Redesign the facade including windows, garage door, and front door

I would definitely make the railing light. Also make the windows [white], because in my opinion otherwise it does not fit the store profile/canopy.

Well, in the end you have to decide for yourselves what you like. Since the roof is also anthracite, I would design the front door and windows in the same color and make the facade a bit more colorful, maybe in a lighter yellow or whatever you like. I would style the windows and door to match the old building, so the door not too modern. Mullions are nice, but not a must for me. However, transom windows are a must. We have those everywhere and they are great. Our house from 1921 also has anthracite-colored windows with transoms, but without mullions. I find the balconies okay with the dark wood; I would adapt the left balcony to match. I would definitely spruce up the house with plants, like planting in balcony boxes. It looks completely different in summer, especially since you don't have a garden or even a lawn in front. In winter, you can plant heather or other winter plants like Christmas roses, or you can simply put fir greenery in the boxes. In any case, I think this makes a big difference. Also, beautiful climbing roses on a trellis on the facade can work wonders.

Also, I like painted/colored plastered frames around the windows, although that probably wouldn’t look good anymore with the different window sizes.
Still, I would try somehow to make it more uniform, currently it’s quite mismatched.
