Hello,
We have a 5000l cistern where the water often stands for a few weeks in the summer and starts to smell. I have read that concrete cisterns are less affected because a microclimate with aerobic bacteria can settle better on the rough surface. Would concrete blocks, stones in the cistern be an alternative to tabs?
Has anyone ever considered converting a submersible pump into a circulation pump with a floating sprinkler to bring oxygen into the water?
