With my answer in #14, I wanted to make it clear to you that what you associate with building a house – here a lot of your own work – is hardly attractive for a provider of prefabricated or solid houses, because there is no reasonable profit for them. That is why I recommend switching to an architect.

We do not build in BW and I do not engage in advertising in such a blatant form as you apparently perceived. Instead, I answer questions to the best of my knowledge and belief, based on my practical experience, and I can give reasonable answers; of course free of charge for the users of the HBF ;)

If you are aware of the additional workload described by Bauexperte, then it is doable. We will do it that way! Although we looked for an archive and assigned everything ourselves. But I will also tell you, it is a lot of work and costs a lot of nerves and time. You have to be aware of that!!! In this way, we will pay about 250K for approximately 170 sqm of living space with a full basement and double garage. However, we also have a large dormer, 60 sqm of window area, a geothermal heat pump, and preparation for photovoltaics. In EL, we are doing or have done: earthworks, roof covering including plumbing work, electrical installation, insulation, drywall, painting, flooring including tiling, and the final installation of the bathrooms.

If you want to build with Bien-Zenker, then read the contract carefully and have it checked by an expert if necessary. In the end, we did not sign it.

I cannot leave it at that so generally, because it depends crucially on which association your expert came from. Some tend to overshoot the mark.
