Hello everyone,
I picked up our building permit yesterday and also have the execution planning. I would like some advice from you on a few points:
Sewer Ventilation Shafts
I see some boxed-in wall corners in our planning where ventilation shafts for the toilet, bathtub, etc. run. I don’t find it nice and haven’t noticed it in any house viewing so far. Can’t this be solved differently? Why do you need so many (I once read that you can balance distances up to 15m)? Also, I don’t like the pipes on the roof. Is it possible to do this instead with wall grilles in the facade?
Water Connection in the Garage
Our garage will be built 2.70m away from the house. Now I thought that having a dedicated sink there would be cool. Can I just have a line laid there? How does the wastewater work? Ideally, I would like it to run through the garden meter.
Outdoor Faucet
Where would you position it? On the corner of the house toward the garden apparently costs extra. I also wonder if you would hear water running inside the living room then. Or is it better directly at the utility room?
Glazing
I want laminated safety glass. Which class should you choose if you want burglary protection?
Gas Line
We have a brine heat pump. However, it’s from Viessmann and therefore I’m unsure about its durability. I am someone who loves options. That means I would like to have the possibility to eventually tear out the heat pump if, for example, electricity becomes unaffordable and install a gas boiler. Should I have a piece of empty conduit laid for gas in the foundation slab or can something like that always be retrofitted if needed?
Attached are our plans for your information. If anyone notices anything else, feel free. The plans are now also with the building savings contract.
Best regards, Redsonic
