Questions about kitchen and bathroom design

The sliding door will not help against any odors, besides, you will surely open it when you serve the food, right? I also notice that your bathroom window is way too small for the room size. Are your doors really supposed to be only 2m high?

I believe we have only planned 2m doors. We have never really thought about that, for example, since we also have some here and it doesn't bother us.

The next larger standard size is 212.5 cm, which looks much better. In most show homes, the doors are also over 2m high; people usually don't pay attention to that and then plan the low doors themselves.

Yeah, well, my wife and I are not particularly tall, so it would actually only be an optical feature and no real benefit for us. In our apartment, we currently only have 2m doors and that is completely sufficient for us. The extra cost – even if possibly small – is not worth it to me. Best regards Tom

2m is imho too low. With the high ceilings nowadays, I would choose the highest possible doors. You don’t even find 2m particularly often in rental apartments anymore.
