Blackm88 writes about 6000 T€ gross and 3500 € net.

"Professionally, my partner and I are in a permanent employment relationship, net income currently 3500€/month"
"Her income: 2500€ gross/month
His income: 3500€ gross/month"

Oops. I must have had tomatoes on my eyes
Then of course you are right. Under these circumstances, it is clearly too much.

We plan to finance a similar amount, 390,000€. However, we have 5500€ net available. And even that is already right at the limit for us, especially with regard to offspring and part-time work.
I agree with the previous posters, don't do that to yourselves.

It is rumored that children can only really play with peers (not just alongside them) from about the age of 3. Before that, daycare only has a positive effect if the children are seriously neglected at home.

I must point out that we are not yet married and that good salary increases are expected for me in the next five years. The data from my previous posts is a snapshot as of today.

We might already get a second offer to compare on the coming Monday, I will simply get a second opinion. But based on the total amount, it probably won't be much cheaper, we should pay down a bit as well.

Here in the countryside, the building land is inexpensive, so more remains for the house. I also have an initial offer from another company, but it contained so many exceptions etc. that they could not give us a price (fixed price).

Have you already done sampling? You can still quickly invest €20,000 (Elec. blinds, a few LAN sockets, ceiling spots, a fancier bathroom fixture... The standard usually only includes functional variants)
