We are about to start construction. In the basement, there will be a washing machine and a condenser dryer, as well as a hand washbasin, which will presumably be used only rarely. The architect is now asking us whether we want to build a pump sump or install a "Jung Baufix" as a plastic prefabricated part; the trend is towards the Baufix. The floor drain is already integrated into the lid there.
Does anyone know the system? I can get parts for the pump sump cheaper through a company, but it has higher installation costs than the Baufix. The Baufix is available in 50, 100, or 200-liter volumes; does anyone know if the 100-liter size is sufficient for the above application? Or should one dimension it a bit larger so that the pump does not have to start as often?
