Hello,
three years ago I renovated an old building to the extent that I installed underfloor heating, electric shutters, etc., and in the process had the entire electrical system renewed.
The electrician laid "all" cables through conduits (I'm not entirely sure if it was really 100% all or if some lie directly in the wall, but this can be clarified afterwards).
Since I am somewhat tech-obsessed, I would now like to make all the shutters, lights,... controllable centrally from a PC, so that at certain times the shutters go up and down, I can be sure all the lights are off when leaving the house, etc.
For this I would like to use the fairly inexpensive Z-Bus, which apparently is completely sufficient for private households both in terms of price and functionality. The problem, however, is that it requires 4-core cables (3 for the consumer and 1 for the Z-Bus itself) and in our house of course we only have 3-core cables.
Is it possible to easily lay new cables through the conduits afterwards, or is it very time-consuming to get the cables out of the conduits? If this is possible without breaking open the walls, I would seriously consider it. If the walls would have to be broken open for this, I would probably only do it during a necessary renovation (be it wallpapering or something else). ;)
Thank you very much for your opinions and best regards,
Dirk
