The offer is really something. One piece of installation/repair but billing by effort ... yeah right, it couldn’t be less transparent. Although €330 net for installation ... that’s two people three hours each at €55 net per hour. Quite a hassle for such a broken little ribbon, isn’t it? I’d get another offer.

stupid question: can you solve the problem yourself if you have the material? because according to the offer, the material doesn't cost the world. the 600€ is also just a very rough estimate and "based on effort" is the invitation to charge properly. so the part in the picture belongs to the house. if nothing like that is explicitly excluded in the contract, it is subject to the 5-year warranty. the material effort is limited, the employees cost the company significantly less. basically not a big deal. best to have a proper talk with them again or do it yourself with the material...
