There are numerous methods to process and preserve garden products. It is important that only flawless vegetables or fruits are used. You can make so many things from them. Jams, fruit juices, or even sauces.
For example, if you have made a jam, it is very important that the single-use jar is really clean. You should clean it with high-proof alcohol and/or boil it. There must be no microorganisms in the jar before it is filled with jam and then sealed airtight. Otherwise, mold will form, and the product will quickly become inedible.

yes...there is this weird mushroom or something...you can even die from it: what was it called again? my mother used to do a lot of canning. nowadays not so many people do that anymore, since you can buy everything and it is usually even cheaper than if you make it yourself.

It is certainly cheaper to buy a cheap jam, but it does not taste better. It seems to me that these factory goods really only taste like sugar. Homemade jam, however, tastes like fruit!

What you mean, yung, is, I think: bacteria. Botulism is a very severe food poisoning caused by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum, which also, and especially, thrives without oxygen. You must never consume canned goods that are swollen. If you preserve food yourself, you have to be very careful that the lids are really well sealed.

Botulinum toxin is one of the most potent poisons there is. Every year, people die from it. One thing is important to mention in this regard: children under 2 years old should not eat honey because honey can contain spores of these bacteria.

The dose that leads to death in botulism is already at 0.1 mg/kg of body weight. This also explains why this toxin is classified as a biological weapon. People usually become infected through food preserved in jars or cans. Vegetables, fish, fruits, meat, dairy products, and poultry can be triggers. Therefore: never consume a product if the jar or can is swollen or damaged!!
