Aha, you can keep your double standards, the only thing missing is that you call people with anthracite-colored windows tasteless. Because I also like that.

If you had made a suggestion, I wouldn't have said anything, but you always think you know better. Luckily, you are no longer a mod here.

Man, boy, did you sleep badly last night? What's going on? Do you want to talk to us about it? ypg is right on the matter, a double wire fence with foil inside looks worse than in the Flodders. But if someone really wants to do it, you can't stop them anyway :)

So far, everyone here has made a suggestion except you.

In this discussion, which is getting a bit out of hand, a quote comes to mind that I discovered on a hiking trail during my last vacation:

Stay away from negative people. They have a problem for every solution.

Just my subjective opinion: Such a forum lives on one hand from more or less helpful hints, competent as well as incompetent advice, but also, as mentioned, just my opinion, from expressions like "Eww, how ugly is that," because there is always at least a "Oh, but that is pretty" in response. And here you find the full range from literary-poetic forum members to down-to-earth ones and everything in between. ;-) I like it, and I also like every forum member, even those with whom the feeling is not mutual. ;-)

I know exactly what he means. A handful of people really like to hit hard here. Possibly something like a "I've been here a long time and am allowed to do that." But it is not always helpful or purposeful.
