That actually makes it even worse

I would rather trust my hands and feet than have my wife translate something technical, then argue about it, and in the end tell me the result of the discussion...

But of course, that can only be the case with me in individual cases...

I also find gingerbread nicer - seriously: what do you mean by "not wood"? There are prefabricated houses made of bricks, expanded clay, etc., but I have not heard of that from Polish providers at least. Steel is, in my opinion, not the real deal (but I also don't know any Polish ones there).

That was the right question these acquaintances mostly only know it from hearsay themselves. I remember when we started building the house back then, people said, what 400k for a house? That's way too expensive, they're ripping you off. Today, everyone would be licking their fingers for a house with 250m2 including a basement

Hello everyone,

the plan is to build on an already inherited plot of land in northeastern Poland. Here are the key data - There has already been a building on the plot (a dilapidated old detached house). - Plot connected - Intended use: holiday home. - max 80m^2. - max 3 rooms. - barrier-free / low barrier. - Construction method not yet decided. - I am absolutely proficient in the Polish language.

Do you perhaps have tips/experiences or are you aware of any recommendable companies?

There are enough groups on Facebook where you can quickly find a company. You will hardly find suggestions/recommendations in a German home-building forum for construction in Poland...

At least I am not proficient enough to read a Polish development plan - and besides, this is no reason to hijack a thread.
