Precast concrete garage - install gate / doors yourself

we want to have a concrete prefabricated garage installed by a large German manufacturer. 7*3 / 2.5 high.

Is it actually possible to install standard sectional doors yourself in the openings? The opening for the door has a height of 2.19 and a width of 2.83.

I would also like to install the two planned doors myself. (1m * 2 meters). I would like to use simple back doors from the hardware store for this.

Does it deliver without gate and door? Ours, rekers, probably wouldn’t have done that.

It's about the same manufacturer with us. They would do it.

How much do you (over)estimate the profit in trying your own luck at [Tor und Tür]?

I don't know the price with door and doors compared to without door and doors... but at a width of 2.83 you won't find a standard one in the hardware store.

We built our garage ourselves and accordingly also installed door / window / windows ourselves.

We paid 229 euros for our white steel door in the hardware store. A secondary entrance door would have been even cheaper... the window 1.0m x 1.0m was about 120 euros.

The garage door was only available on order in the hardware store as mentioned. Standard is probably up to 2.50 meters. We also wanted a sectional door and not a swing door. We then ordered ours from Poland and had it installed. It was 1,600 euros in total (2.75 meters x 2.15 meters). Of that, 300 euros were for installation... you could have done it yourself, but two people spent the whole morning on it (from about 7:00 to 13:00).

So the offer would have had to be over 2,000 euros between the two for us to save.
