Yes, I hope so too. Thanks for the tip about the prices. At least, for example, that a price up to 25€/m2 including [Fliesen] was already mentioned by him yesterday. And he also named us some items from the list--for example, what the solar system would cost, what the chimney would cost, etc.

We were also able to see in advance with our house builder what is included in the standard and what costs extra. Other house providers also offered us to do a preliminary inspection of the standard, or have already shown us some things. I would find it unprofessional if someone refused to do a preliminary sampling.

Best regards
Sabine

But only material. Usually, there is an additional charge for tile formats over 60x30cm due to higher installation effort. The same applies to different installation methods.

Oh yes, ok, that's also good to know. We will also get informed about that, thanks!

Often at the beginning, people make the mistake of being convinced that the standard is sufficient. However, many things are, for me, for example, a must-have. Blinds in the south/western living rooms, for example, would not be for me. You mostly have them down during the day in summer. With venetian blinds, you have protection from direct sunlight and still get a lot of light. But it does cost quite a surcharge. If you have a wooden staircase and later find out that you really like oak parquet, you will want the staircase to match. And the standard shower cabin is not as nice as the walk-in tiled one with rain shower head and thermostat.

Believe me, almost every builder goes through that...

We were allowed to go through the sample center in advance for one. Without any consultation etc. The standard of the two lines was marked and we at least knew that for doors, wall and floor coverings, the simpler line is not feasible for us, if it gets tight the better line would be possible.

The one we are building with has a mini exhibition in the basement where the different qualities, variants and for the tiles the format are determined in advance. But nothing more. I find that okay.
