Then educate yourself and read the contract carefully. If you don't trust yourself, consult a lawyer for advice. It really isn't as difficult as you make it out to be.

You should read the contract for that... But I am more worried that if the financing works out, you are tied to the provider and cannot get out anymore. And just ask yourself what advantage you have from the preliminary contract. If you find at least three real advantages, sign it.

And only sign once everything is really settled, down to the specific costs for each individual service you want. Otherwise, you will end up paying more for every addition than you expected. Even for things you thought were a matter of course. And by that I mean really everything from the [Raffstore] to the individual socket. From the type of flooring you want to the stair railing.

Why don't you respond to the underlying questions: how close to delivery is your house planning anyway, what do the plot and the setting of the switches say about the construction method, does your situation resemble the financing situation in the post I linked? What kind of manufacturer is it anyway: the fifth after a systematic comparison or the first one who approached you? We can't read your mind. For example, people often come here who feel addressed by an offer for a slab-on-grade house even though they have a vineyard plot and then possibly only go to financing advice with the construction contract...

Hello, we do have a building plot but the house financing is not yet 100 percent secure and Kampa Living Haus and Scanhaus Marlow are pressing to sign a preliminary contract

That is probably the safest but also by far the most expensive way to go.
Anyone who has the number of sockets, the recessed shelf in the shower, the tiles, the finishing profiles, etc. written into the contract will pay the contractor’s surcharge everywhere... and would have gotten it from the craftsman later for half the price...

It probably wouldn’t be allowed for many anyway, as they will say, “You clarify that directly with the electrician during the shell construction, he will then make an offer. We do not include that in the contract for walls, that is standard and watertight, nothing will be changed about it.”
