Hello dear community,
we are currently planning a major renovation and have now come up with the idea of a post-and-beam facade. The south side is to be glazed "up to under the roof" + a part of an extension around the corner.
Since one side of the apartment or living space (after all about 7 meters) will be covered by the post-and-beam facade, I am wondering what possibilities such a system offers for electrical installation?
After all, otherwise, you would have neither light switches nor sockets on one side, as well as no lighting outdoors.
For example, can cables be laid in the aluminum cladding or can lamps be attached to the posts from the outside?
Are there special electrical components for the interior?
I would be very grateful for a few suggestions and/or examples!
What has come to mind so far, if nothing can be integrated into the facade, would be floor sockets or power columns for the interior, for example. But I have not found anything good for the latter yet...
Regards and thanks
