Our laundry room is also not heated, but it still doesn't get colder than 18 degrees… how is your basement built?

Fully basemented, 36 cm KS stone with external insulation. All basement rooms are "ventilated" and illuminated with light shafts. Or what do you think ?

That means your basement is insulated and bricked? Then it loses little temperature ... with a cold uninsulated room, the connection wouldn’t be good if you bring in warm air in summer ... but with the insulated basement, it normally isn’t cold enough for that.

Yes exactly, insulated and built with masonry.

So include the basement in the connection?

Yes

when it's really hot outside, it can happen that
the humidity in the basement gets a bit high, but then just put a common dehumidifier on for a short time...

better than leaving the basement windows tilted all year because you're too lazy to regularly go ventilate all the rooms

Good evening,

I am joining in and didn’t want to create a new topic since it is pretty much the same subject. I have installed a 100 PVC pipe through the wall in the bedrooms and built a box with pipes on a portable air conditioner. Now I want to do everything properly. I have already googled for an hour but somehow can’t find anything. I have now laid a Zehnder ComfoTube flat 51 ventilation pipe down to the basement and installed a 4-way distributor on the ceiling in the hallway. The ceiling will be lowered by 20 cm. Now I am looking for a control system for the rooms where the flow rate can be controlled. My basement is above ground and not underground; there I want to install an outdoor unit and an evaporator in the basement where the piping is supposed to be connected. Despite the heating system, the basement is significantly cooler.

Thanks

Regards Alex
