I agree. First, finish your studies, then find a job and save money for several years. By then at the latest, no one really cares anymore what you did during your studies. Income and money in the bank account count.
hihi, if the account management during my studies had somehow had an influence on the mortgage loan approval, I wouldn’t now have a rented condominium and a single-family house that I live in myself in Berlin...
Because your gaming can't have been that long ago. You harp on this mistake so much that one has to assume it's still very close to you. But whatever. You still have a few years. The world looks completely different then anyway :)
Indeed, I only quit half a year ago. Accordingly, I am still very worried about what consequences it will have. If someone saw the bank statements from half a year ago, they would easily conclude it was gambling addiction. There were almost daily deposits of 20-40€ and then occasionally a bigger withdrawal.
Payment inflows and outflows from years ago are no longer of interest when applying. Some banks do want to see account statements, but usually only from the last 3 months. And there would still be years until your financing. So you can relax and be proud that you have gotten rid of this habit. :)
The question is whether it is thoroughly checked at all. In my financing, the architect was sloppy and provided grossly incorrect documents to the bank. It was not checked. The completeness of the documents was important, content didn't matter. I only noticed it later as well.
Hello, thank you all very much for the answers! That is somehow reassuring. How does it actually work with bank references? So are they obtained from the house bank? My bank advisor said that this rarely happens. Regards
