I don't think the word basement is right for the sloping site. UG only fits to a limited extent, the entrance is there

We can also speak of entrance and garden floors, but then the discussion gets confusing if someone abbreviates the entrance floor as "EG"

The main garden will probably be accessible from the entrance floor. In our plan, only EG, OG, and DG are mentioned. No one has referred to our EG as UG.

Because of such funny posts, I usually avoid forums. Thanks in advance to everyone else. I also think that the property looks flatter in the photos and in reality. We received this plan from the city... The surveyor will come in the next few weeks... so I would have liked to have some opinions and ideas.

Instead of basement, I would use the term "Souterrain." You can do a lot with that; often, these are very beautiful and original houses. Not if they were built in the 50s, but definitely in later construction periods.

I'm sorry that you didn't like the post with the crooked camera. I found it amusing because my photos are always crooked too, but certainly no one wanted to hurt your feelings here.
