Saving here only makes sense if the two could still build under identical conditions in 10+ years.
As Musketier rightly pointed out, the "actual" savings rate is probably still below 800 euros, and thus in the future not only rising land and property prices as well as possibly increasing rental payments would need to be compensated, but also a very likely higher loan interest rate from 2026. In the end, effectively around 300 euros per month flow into equity, and then everyone can consider how long the two would have to save based on the above calculation. And the higher mobility costs due to commuting have not yet been taken into account.
Fairly, the advice here should only be: "Reduce claims." Usually, one can do little about income oneself...
I would, in any case, consider whether I really wanted to "strain" myself for ~35 years for a "simple" house with a surrounding lawn edge in a place without any infrastructure.
That's exactly what I said: If, as with the OP, it's not enough, you have to lower your expectations.
Since he has apparently already done that mentally with the topic "single-family house with its own plot" (modest construction in the middle of nowhere) and still barely manages it, he should consider something else (e.g., continue renting).
I just wanted to say that I wouldn't even put up with it in that form, even if it somehow barely worked out.
