Well, the thing is the more infrastructure there is, the more expensive it becomes, especially in the Frankfurt area where real estate prices sometimes rise to dizzying heights that I think roughly 70/80% of the forum can't afford.

Best regards

You are not wrong. The conclusion from this is then: Rent instead of building/buying. There is nothing wrong with that, and in this case it may even increase living comfort. NOT EVERYONE has to buy/build a house.

: That one doesn’t expect downtown comfort "outside" is understood. But not even a baker on site? Everyone to their own taste, it wouldn’t be worth it to me.

: Agreed!

Of course it's not for everyone, you have to decide for yourself but I think the wallet ultimately decides, not the wishes...

That's exactly what I said: If it's not enough, as with the OP, you have to lower your demands. Since he has apparently already done that mentally with the topic "single-family house with own land" (modest construction in the middle of nowhere) and it still hardly works out, he should consider something else (e.g. continue renting). I just wanted to say that I wouldn't even put myself through it in that form, even if it would somehow just barely work out.

Yes, of course you are right....

What never quite makes sense to me personally is the obsession with a house, especially in these metropolitan areas I can only ever recommend buying an apartment, but I'm used to hitting deaf ears with that, so I haven't made that suggestion yet :)
