I got myself a T.I.P. TIEFBRUNNENPUMPEN AJ – AJ 4 PLUS 100/57AUT for our cistern.
Do you connect PE-HD pipe directly to it or something pressure-resistant flexible inside the cistern?

directly on the PE-HD pipe. I believe you have DN 32. That is still flexible enough, in the worst case attach an elbow fitting.
