Hello everyone and all experienced ones,

we want to plan our kitchen. Now we have a floor plan where a wall runs at an angle due to the course of the property. We don't find that a problem. We just want to have the kitchen exactly there. Could there be any problems?

The plan is a kitchen unit partly room height, partly with wall cabinets and a work surface with a sink.

(We will extend the wall up to the window so that it is not too tight there.)

Thanks, best regards Marc

You just have to factor in that drawers, doors, and flaps need their swinging, folding, or pulling-out space ... see the "pink" drawer

It also depends on how the rest of the room is.

One option would be to extend the wall on the left up to the window and place the row at a right angle to the window wall. You can never say for sure with such a small section ;)

That doesn't matter at all. The countertop will be adjusted accordingly and run diagonally into the corners. Small (triangular) gaps will be created – on the left side of the plan not usable, on the right side potentially usable as a small emergency cabinet for a DIYer or with a cover panel. One would have to be careful with the cabinets on the left side of the plan: drawers would not be able to open if the base cabinet on the window side is too close, as they would then hit something.

Edit: has marked it nicely.
