We are currently in the process of finalizing the floor plan for our single-family house. One point where we feel it might not yet be optimal is the arrangement of the bathroom on the upper floor. (There is only a small guest bathroom on the ground floor).
In the picture, you can see the current proposal from the general contractor, which we basically find quite appealing, but on the other hand, not really perfect yet. Maybe you could give us some suggestions.
A few details about the planning:
Walk-in tiled shower 1.4x1m with glass door, side wall built from bricks.
(Simple) bathtub 170x75
2 washbasins
1x electric towel heater (not drawn in)
The room is located under the roof with a 1m knee wall and a 45° roof pitch (knee wall shown on the right exterior wall in the picture).
The window is NOT floor-to-ceiling.

What we don’t quite like at the moment is that you walk directly into the shower upon entering. Also, while there is, on the one hand, a nice large open area, there are relatively few free walls for dressers. If you place the shower on the lower side, a lot of light from the window is lost again...
None of this is too serious, but if anyone has suggestions for optimization, we would be happy.
