Hello everyone,

especially with these temperatures, we realize that we would already like to have a pool with the new build. Financially it will probably be tight, which is why we would only like to lay cellar passages and pipes in order to avoid later core drilling and surface-mounted pipes. For the exterior work, we will then know whether there is money available or if we have to postpone it. Most of the work will be done by ourselves, but I currently have no time to deal with the technical details (skimmer, chlorine, etc.). That will come when the house can be occupied.

I would like to plan the technology in a separate garden shed, so it should actually only be about the supply water, wastewater, and electricity.
The location of the future pool is actually quite well known, so I would probably do the following:

[*]Lay wastewater pipe from the planned pool site to the house’s wastewater pipe. Seal the pool-side access.
[*]Lead supply water deep enough (frost-free) through the cellar and lay it at the same spot as the wastewater for the pool.
[*]Lay empty conduit for the electricity at the later garden shed at the same spot so that everything can be “found” at once. (I have SAPOS access and can map and relocate positions with my GPS device to under 1cm accuracy. I bought the device for my forest.)

Can I simply tell my planner this, and will he then select a sleeve pipe in the white tub at the right spot? How would you lay it? Do you need anything else besides the mentioned connections?

Thanks and best regards
Gerald

Possibly a suitable cable for the WP, so that you can heat the pool with the WP (this is then a second heating circuit and quite common for many WPs).

Yes, I have already thought about it because it would be cool to use the heat pump for that. However, I assume that the heat pump for the KFW40 house is rather in the range of 5kW, which would be very little for a pool. And a larger one in the basement, which would then run much less efficiently, would not really be an alternative. Therefore, I would probably plan for another pool heat pump.

How premium do you need it? For a "normal" pool, electricity is enough (preferably at least 3 separately switched conductors, better more, or you put a control unit near the pool). Water and wastewater are then just a bonus. I'm with you on the heat pump, the pool ones are probably also cheaper than the second heating circuit.

I'm more of a practical person. Wastewater pipe isn't that expensive when the excavator is already digging out the basement. If the alternative means I have to use a garden hose and hang a submersible pump in the pool to pump it empty, that's a pretty easy answer for me. Fresh water too. It doesn't cost much to lay it at the same time if planned directly. That also makes automatic refilling possible. Alternatively, regularly hanging the garden hose in the pool doesn't have to be the case.

It depends on the pool size and the period during which you want to heat. For example, for 30cbm I agree with you, it would be too small.
