I thought for a long time about what to write. When I read that yesterday, it was like a punch in the gut. I didn’t know him, and I only had a few points of contact here as well. But someone being taken from life at such a young age is cruel. I imagined what it must be like for [Frau u d Familie], also with the burden of the house... terrible... I am truly incredibly sorry. And it mercilessly confronts one with their own mortality. We should all use and enjoy the moment, and think of those who had to leave too soon.

Even if one did not know him personally, I appreciated him as a person and his contributions here very much. In such moments, we all become aware again of how small we are on this big earth and how vulnerable. Problems that one considers big become or are quite small. My condolences go to his family, friends, and all who knew him, and I wish them all the strength in the world to cope with this heavy loss.
