Hi!

I have assembled 2x1.5m Pax and then wanted to install the dampers. But when you slide the door open, it takes a bit more force at the moment when the pin probably comes out of the complement guide, and it really doesn't open very sweet & soft. For closing, it's okay.

Now I was already there and got a replacement – but that's not exactly better either. In the showroom, I find these still open/close a bit easier.

Does anyone have a tip or should I just return them if I still have the receipt.

My goal was gentle closing – but not at the price of having to struggle to open!

Your opinion or tips??

Regards Jan

Hello, if the door is too difficult to open from the latch, I would first open and close the door about 100 times and see if it gets better. If not, I would examine the mechanism more closely, analyze the "fault," and fix it if possible. That would probably mean opening the fitting and filing something on a part. However, this can be problematic for the warranty. If you want to exchange it again, pay attention to a different production date.
