I wouldn't do anything there myself.

Did you build new or renovate there or in the immediate neighborhood? Was heavy machinery possibly operated on it?

No, nothing was done at all. Everything is already built over. It is also very unlikely that someone would drive heavy construction equipment on the sidewalk right in front of the house.

Well, that's how opinions differ.

I wouldn't even give the little hump a rating. If you really want to fix it, I would lift the three affected stones, clean them, remove the dirt from the joints, possibly take out a little (!!) of the substrate, put the slabs back in, use a rubber mallet, sprinkle a handful of sand on top, done.

Of course, you could also have a construction company come over first and prepare a quote. I think you'll be waiting for that quote until the cows come home.

If it doesn’t belong to you, you just have to inform the owner and not send anyone over.

Since photos can’t be viewed on the phone via Tapatalk, I can’t see any bump and assumed, as mentioned in the original post, that it’s something “bigger.”

Aside from the fact that it concerns his property, I would like to mention that you can very well see every photo and image with Tapatalk.

The OP has described that it is private property; based on the photos, I assume it is adjoining property, i.e. communal property.

Of course, it could belong to a different single owner and the OP only has easement rights, etc., in which case you are right. However, then I would be surprised by the OP's question, because in that case you would simply report the damage to the owner and would not be allowed to do anything without their consent.
