Very exciting. Would you like to say more about it after the appointment? Can you roughly classify the area in OWL? I am active in the GT district. How many sqm of wall/ceiling are we talking about for the prices you quoted?

A quick update from me: The appointment went well and the first impression was very friendly, courteous, and fair. He also had good and sensible objections to our planning. He is now smoothing everything out again, plastering the ceiling joints, and then painting everything white. However, this is only possible because our Kalkgipsputz has such a good surface. In principle, you could also paint it directly, but then the structural impurities would show through. He also offered to start with a "less important" room first, then we can look at the result and make a decision for the other rooms. If he does as good a job as he seems to us, then there is nothing to complain about. There was nothing to complain about personally either; with the other craftsmen we really had much more stress.

Sounds great, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you! By the way, I also just wallpapered with [Malervlies] for the first time, it takes a while, but it's really not rocket science. You can easily get proper seams. There are still 3-4 spots in the house that I don't like. They will be quickly touched up and done.

Gladly, I will do that via direct message. Not everything is perfect, but that is not such a big deal for us. He only plastered for us and did not wallpaper, and a few spots are not 100% perfect, but that is fine for us. If you look closely, you always see a few mistakes after painting work. Overall, however, we are very satisfied. Apart from that, since we moved in, I have also put several dents in the walls myself. That just happens once you live in there. Especially when you carry the ladder around 100 times every day. :D

At the beginning, only send out the request, the craftsmen will probably reply to you with a mobile number and email.
