Paint garage floor

We are building a new house and have decided on a prefabricated garage.

To make the garage floor more resistant to, for example, saltwater in winter, a coating was recommended to us. I would now like to apply this myself. Which paint is suitable here? Can I use any 2K epoxy resin coating for this? Is there a supplier that is particularly recommended? I have also found coatings for industrial/workshop floors. Are there any differences compared to a garage floor coating?

For private use, any 2k coating is probably sufficient. But if you want, I can look something up for industrial floors, though then the m2 easily costs 70 euros... but then you can drive over it with a forklift.

I probably won't be able to drive in there with anything bigger than our car. A coating for private use should be sufficient. Do 2K coatings have a disadvantage or what do I need to watch out for? I also read that the solvents can dissolve car tires with longer periods of inactivity (vacation). Are there special 2K coatings for that?

2K usually has no solvents, that is the reason for 2K 1K needs solvents which "dissolve" the paint and keep it liquid. After application, the solvent can then evaporate and thus the paint hardens again. 2K hardens through the addition of the second component (hardener)

Are there other components (in the coating) that one should pay attention to? What could cause the tires to dissolve? I also know of floor coatings (e.g., underground parking garages) that feel rubbery. Could the plasticizers contained possibly be the reason?

I don't understand why you are so worried, if something is labeled as garage floor paint it will work.
