Outdoor lighting with motion sensor and continuous operation?

I solved it as follows:
The carport has 2 LED tubes on the left and right sides plus a motion sensor. The right LED tube is connected to the motion sensor, all connected to an "Arnold switch." A developer from Nuremberg. The switch controls the motion sensor or only the one light on the right side (standard). Via the switch, I can then set both lights to permanent on or permanent off. I find this a perfect solution. The developer also sent a circuit diagram upon my request to control both LED tubes. The electrician only had to implement it.

No problem with smarthome. Here it is on until 9:30 pm from sunset, after that by motion sensor, when we go to bed it is off until 6 am, then by motion sensor until it gets light.

We have installed appropriate LED floodlights in the roof box above. These are all connected to motion sensors. At the back on the terrace, the permanent light or complete shutdown is additionally wired. The carport is also controlled by a motion sensor. There is also an LED strip mounted hidden there. The motion sensor only reacts when I drive into the carport, get out, or take things out. It switches off after 45 seconds. All other motion sensors also switch off after about 45 seconds. For us, a perfect solution. Low power consumption and we don’t "bother" any neighbors or other "complainers".

We have pure motion sensor lights all around the house (manual operation not possible), which annoy us a lot.. When they turn off, they first blink for a while. And as soon as there is wind outside, they keep turning on.. we have already pulled the fuse because of that. I wouldn't do it like that anymore.

Is the BWM mounted in the carport so that it detects movements under the carport and therefore stays on?

Do you want to tell a bit more precisely about which system you did that with?
I also control some lamps via Shellies but wasn’t sure if that makes sense for outdoor areas as well. (Except for the terrace lights)
