Good thread, I’m also very interested shortly before the start. I once outlined mine as a process with rough week indications (compilation according to the internet). I want to review and improve it again with a capable person (from the family, professional). But I think it’s a rough direction for now.

Is it perhaps relevant to distinguish between general contractor and individual contracting in this case? Unfortunately, I cannot contribute much to the topic, but with us ([Einzelvergabe mit Architektin]) there were some delays. Initially caused by the screed, which took longer to dry than initially thought. This then has a knock-on effect.

Great, that’s exactly what I wanted – the way you show it here, it has "only one" flaw for my purpose: it is still in the future. Where the table says "Predecessor," "Deviations" would be my dream :)

I am unfortunately totally behind schedule due to some delays. Construction started on 18.03., a total of 3 months during which almost nothing happened, building materials were missing, or there was a lack of personnel. Most recently, it depended on the scaffolders, as the scaffolds are up everywhere but there is no roof truss there. Next week, the roof truss is finally supposed to be put on, and I really hope that progress will pick up speed. Initially, 6 months of construction time were planned...

As a fellow sufferer, I recommend the song by Roy Black: "Du bist nicht allein....". We just tell ourselves that the house will be more beautiful and better than all the ones built on schedule . I now believe that due to bottlenecks, the pandemic, etc., a large part of incompetence in properly planning and coordinating things also comes to light. At least that’s how it is with us. The most time-consuming problems were not in the material shortages.

thanks, it reassures me that I'm not the only one feeling this way. Totally my motto when everyone is overtaking you on the left and right (next week I have the topping-out ceremony with my neighbor who started 3 months later...), but so far the quality seems to be good, from what I can say. I still have a faint hope that moving in will work out before Christmas, but even if not, I've come to take it easy. There definitely seems to be some organizational issues...
