What some people always have against 45° corners - we bought a whole package, the masons laughed :D.

But sometimes it can't be helped if you don't want to forgo certain placements/cuts.

We even planned double casement windows specifically because we think they're stylish - the day before yesterday I picked up those beasts.

That's just how tastes are...

And regarding compromises: Especially in new construction, you do make a lot of compromises - on the one hand due to regulations, on the other hand purely for financial reasons. Even beyond 400k and more...

I believe there's only one federal state with a ceiling height requirement - although I would never go below 2.40m on the upper floors.

I would swap the utility room with the small room. From a wiring perspective, this would definitely be better. Whether a door makes sense at this size is something everyone has to decide for themselves. We decided against it and are glad about that today. There is a lot of stuff stored under the window. :)

The entrance to the shower on the ground floor is very narrow. I would implement Toxicmolotow's suggestion. I would move the window in the shower room further into the room, otherwise the room door could frequently hit the window when doing a quick cross-ventilation. ;)

I thought the same this morning, but looked for arguments. It's simply a spatial gut feeling :) If laundry absolutely has to be carried outside from the utility room, then you can also create a secluded corner with a hedge in the front garden - which might even be more pleasant than looking at laundry from the main terrace. Besides, I would make the 45 cm walls into full corners and plan ahead by expanding the stairwell to the DB in order to retrofit a staircase there later. Because once children have moved in, storage space will be lacking (a roof hatch is not an alternative). Possibly plan the bedroom extension as a storage room.

Regards Yvonne

P.s. The 45 cm walls match the style of this towing core (or whatever you might call it), but the staircase passage will probably be somewhat restricted?!

This is what a utility room looks like, it’s a little more than just a tank, a meter cabinet, and a boiler.

But it can be done differently... well... a bit more clearly ;)

You, that is planned very compactly. Clear layout simultaneously means more space requirement.
