Yes. In open areas it becomes more difficult when there is mixed light with different color temperatures. Then it naturally does not look good. Unless you never have the different lighting groups on at the same time.
Do recessed panels bring you so much more aesthetics than the ultra-flat normal LED panels? For the recessed panels, you need expensive HaloX boxes in the ceiling (at least €60 each) and additionally the LED panels, which also protrude a few millimeters. The surface-mounted variants, however, are only max. 20mm thick with almost the same look, but considerably cheaper overall. Or am I missing an advantage of the recessed version?
Why are these recessed boxes, which are cast into the concrete, actually so extremely expensive? It's just a plastic housing for the recessed spotlights and the LED driver. Over 50 euros per box?
And regarding the LED panels. These are those flat rectangular LED "boards," right? But they are more commonly installed in office buildings than in residential buildings?
I believe that in purchasing the small ones (180 mm) are around 20 EUR, but they still have to be installed and wired – and additionally at the end of the interior construction fitted with the installation opening. That costs, although 50 EUR per pot does not seem much to me.
