Noises from a combined heat and power plant

Hello,

we are currently considering buying a terraced end house. Directly adjoining the house, a [Blockheizkraft] (built according to [Energieeinsparverordnung 2016]) is to be installed, almost like in a garage, to supply all the terraced houses on this property. Does anyone have experience with whether it can be heard or if it causes any other disturbances?

It should be located in a garage that is directly attached to the house.

Depends on the device and the soundproofing. As always, one is quiet, the other loud.
