New single-family house construction: Placement of light switch

Currently there are about 20cm of wall there.

Keep in mind that of the 20cm, six to eight centimeters are taken up by the door frame. It will be a tight fit to install one or more switches there, but it should be doable. It just might not look that great. ;)

Just quickly slacked off. You can also do it like this with a hallway cupboard:

Thank you for the feedback. So, 35-40cm width for the wall in the shell construction should be sufficient, right? If we assume 5-10cm for the frame, 25-30 cm remain for the switch including the slot. In the hallway, a small storage room for a vacuum cleaner or similar can then be created.

I'll just put my question in here..

We had planned the light switch for the bathroom on the outside of the wall, but the electrician said during the construction meeting that it makes more sense to have the switch inside the bathroom..

Here in the current house, the bathroom door opens outwards and the light switches are also outside.

In the new building, the bathroom door opens inwards and the light switch would be on the wall next to the door handle.

I think I would prefer it outside, but the electrician made me uncertain..

How did you solve this?
