Hello everyone,
I am new to the forum and have a clear wish: to gain more clarity in the funding jungle through the pooling of expertise of the members here.
For one or the other funding program it will be relevant: I am single, have no children, and want to fulfill the dream of owning a home with my girlfriend.
Briefly about my planned residential property:
We are currently in the planning phase of our home, which will offer an apartment for rent on the upper floor. We are aiming for the KfW 40 standard and, according to the architect, will achieve this. The house has a ventilation system that is centrally controlled.
Heating is done via a heat pump – here we considered whether we will connect ourselves via a district heating line to my father’s wood chip heating system. However, this is where the prerequisites start, which could fundamentally cause funding to fail. For the installation of the wood chip heating system, we were able to claim funding from BAFA for the switch from oil to wood chips at the time.
I have already done some reading here and came across KfW 297, which, however, requires that the building "is not heated with oil, gas or biomass." Does wood chips already count as biomass here?
Which funding programs are basically combinable with a new building with KfW 297 and should basically be considered for my use case? Are there possibly combinable funding programs from BAFA?
Thanks in advance!
Regards
