With us, the gate is also behind the opening, it's just about how much space you have from the bottom edge of the lintel to the ceiling.

Do you really want the springs on the side?



Stick with one fitting, but you need at least 210mm up to a maximum of 300mm for that.

Sorry, I mean the L-bracket ... it only needs 11.5 cm to the ceiling.
In my case, the gate is only behind the facing brick. Not behind the calcium silicate brick...
