New bathrooms - save costs

So the listed prices of the bathroom exhibitions were clearly undercut by all the sanitary professionals (mind you, the sanitary professionals who worked with the exhibitions). Our sanitary professional also told us that when choosing, we can always mentally deduct at least 20 to 30%. Certainly still more expensive than on the internet but already enough to make sense. For example, the displayed toilet was supposed to cost €467, we paid €300, it costs from €229 on the internet. I think depending on the size and type of the order, the exhibitions want to grant the specialist companies the necessary leeway.

There is also a fairly large provider that starts with "R" and ends with "ter"... they offer the assembly, for example. Anyone have experience with it? Or is it something to be advised against? Thanks

I would, for example, only agree to that if our work is completed or if there has been an acceptance of the sanitary rough installation. I wouldn’t be up for the hassle that Siggi has rightly pointed out; that happens more often than you probably imagine. I don’t know if I understood "Anbieter" correctly... we had our house planned by an architect and have an installer who offered the products we selected in the bathroom showroom. I find the hourly rate justified and want to pay it well. It’s just that the product prices differ too much from what I expect....
