Hi everyone,

last week our ordered towel rings and toilet paper holders from "Nie wieder Bohren" arrived. Unfortunately, the towel rings looked so bad at the connection point that I had to return the entire order.

Now we bought the Grohe Essential bathroom accessories and we really like them. Unfortunately, our tiles, at least at the sink, are a bit awkwardly positioned in terms of height, so we can hardly drill into a joint but have to drill directly into the tile, also very close to a socket.

Now we have seen that there are various universal adapters in the "Nie wieder Bohren" shop. Has anyone tried the combination and can say something about it? Or does anyone have another idea how I can solve the problem elegantly?

Attached is also a photo of the sink.

Regards, Snowside

Towel rings? Do they still exist? They are somehow very 80s and don't fit at all with your chic modern washbasin. My opinion

If you ask me: I would either put two/three knobs on the right, a stool or a bench or a chair under the washbasin, in front of the window where you can lay the towels to dry. Maybe there will be a cabinet underneath as well, then you can attach the holders to the side cabinet.

Thank you for the response, now I myself have doubts about the rings

So far, we have only had bad experiences with the rods, either the hinges become loose or the dowels come out of the wall. I will think it over again whether maybe fixed rods without hinges could be suitable. I just have to clarify it with the authorities.

Regards

Ps.: I also like the idea of the holders attached to the side of the cabinet.

and the Pebble Stone from Weko? Quality and appearance really good. Drilling is not an issue either.

I would rather see a ladder made of rustic wood there
